Zoe Moss describes herself as a photo-realist painter. She uses her art to explore the concept of paint versus photography, using superheroes and icons as her core subjects and blending them with humourous narratives to create truly unique prints with a satirical edge.

Zoe is currently producing various private and commercial commissions. She is in the process of creating her own children’s book, too, and is continually working on her third solo show.

London-born Moss feels compelled to spend so long developing her pieces because she believes it allows her time to study her relationship with the subject in more detail.

After receiving a BA Hons in Fine Art, Moss has since exhibited in shows such as the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the National Open Art competition. She has been shortlisted for many exhibitions, including the BP Portrait Prize and John Moores Painting Prize. As a professional artist, she has featured in publications such as ‘Who’s Who in Art’.
